The aim of residencies is to support artistic research and development, as well as the networking activities of artists during their stay abroad. As one of the best ways to encourage the presence of Wallonia-Brussels artists abroad and to have their work travel on the international scene, residencies make it possible to multiply exchanges with other countries and participate in the development of artists' careers.
