Mr. Yann Gall, new General Delegate of Wallonia-Brussels in Quebec, took up his duties on September 1, 2023.

“It is with pleasure and enthusiasm that I begin, on September 1st, 2023, a four-year term as General Delegate of Wallonia-Brussels in Quebec. I would like here to pay tribute to the exemplary work of Sharon Weinblum, who preceded me in this function, as well as to all the General Delegates who have held this position for more than 40 years. Without forgetting, of course, the team of the General Delegation without whom all the achievements resulting from the cooperation between the governments of Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and Quebec would not have been possible. Their work constitutes a solid base on which I can rely with confidence.

Finally, I also salute our partners in Quebec, and other French-speaking entities, particularly in Ontario and Acadia, whether institutional, cultural, academic or scientific, and all our traveling companions from this beautiful country. I am convinced that we will continue to walk together in the spirit of fraternity and progress which brings us together and which characterizes our respective communities. »
